Project Scheduler

Works directly with IT project teams to build and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project 2010/2013


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitates the process of building the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), identify detailed tasks, establishing predecessor/successor dependencies, and estimating task durations with the project team

  • Leads the project team in preparing for the Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) prior to schedule baseline

  • Updates the project schedule weekly by gathering task updates from the task owners

  • Presents schedule status including critical path, look ahead, and cross project dependency reports at the weekly project review

Analyst

This position is located in San Antonio, TX to support the General Services Administration Public Building Service (GSA PBS) Rent Bill Management (RBM) team. This is a part-time position 20 hours per week and work schedule flexibility is required. All work is to be performed in San Antonio and operational hours are from 6am to 7pm.

Our Federal Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) practice is growing!   We are currently seeking experienced IT Portfolio Management professionals and subject matter experts (SME) at all levels! This position requires strong expertise in supporting the OMB Circular No. A-11 and Federal CPIC activities. The candidate will provide strategic and tactical direction, and day to day support in the best practices techniques and guidance in support of the client’s major IT portfolio investments. This position will primarily be at the client’s site in Washington, DC and DC metro area.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Junior candidates a minimum of 1-year work experience in CPIC field and / or certification in the CPIC Forum Candidates-To-Analysts Initiative (C2AI), or completion of CPICForum courses. Recommend candidate to commit to completing PMP and CPP within two years of employment. Bachelor’s degree. Should be comfortable working in a supervised client/consultant environment with project team. Application and use of project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, and related software such as SharePoint, Word, VISIO and Excel. Should show increasing levels of job responsibility.

  • Mid-level candidates 2 to 4 years work experience in CPIC field in the Federal Government. Desired Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and / or Capital Planning Professional (CPP) certification. Middleware Engineer

iTech AG is looking for a Middleware Engineer in San Antonio, TX. Candidate must be a US Citizen or 3 years green card holder to undergo a Public Trust or Minimal Background Investigation (MBI). Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar roles.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install and maintain WebSphere MQ as a Queue Manager to handle storage, timing issues, triggering, and all other nonmovement of data functions.

  • Design a host for binding multiple connections

  • Design the queue manager to log configuration changes and retain persistent messages when failure occurs.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in IBM WebSphere MQ

  • Experience in Queue Management

  • Knowledge and expertise in high availability configuration (i.e. Queue Manager Clusters, Shared Queues, and Multi-Instance Queue Managers).
